Outfit Wars Alpha 1: Finals Recap

Last weekend, we witnessed an epic series of matches to close out our inaugural Outfit Wars preseason cycle! 45 of the best Outfits Auraxis has to offer competed across all 5 PC server regions, demonstrating the tactics, teamwork, and skill levels that earned them their ticket to the Asteroid.

First: a MASSIVE congratulations are due to our winners! You proved your valor on the biggest stage PlanetSide 2 has to offer. We also want to congratulate all the participants - you earned your spot on the stage - and give a huge shout-out to our community casters for putting on such a show! We couldn't have asked for a more riveting showcase for this debut competition.

Oh, and ICYMI: no Empire can lay claim to the valuable relics scattered across Desolation. Each faction came away with EXACTLY 5 wins! The war must go on...

Enlistment for the next Outfit Wars Alpha cycle is primed to kickoff on May 1, with the next war scheduled for May 16. Stay tuned for exact timing along with detailed changes to the qualification phase and finals ruleset (match prizing for the winners will also go out very soon). In the meantime, we want to celebrate the accomplishments of all our Outfit Wars finalists with a few of our favorite VODs and clips from Desolation!
